3 Best Canon DSLR Camera to Start Photography
So you want to start photography but don’t want know which camera to get? Well fortunately for you there are plenty of cameras for you to choose from. Canon is one of the best DSLR company around as you already know. Here I will discuss three different Canon DSLRs that you can use to start your photography journey.
Canon EOS 400D (Digital Rebel XTi)
This is an entry-level camera from Canon but its performance is amazing impressing most experts and also me. The EOS 400D comes with a 10.1-megapixel sensor and a 2.5-inch LCD display. The camera comes with all the features that you would need to take killer photos with the manual and auto mode features nearby as well.
The model is a bit light which may make some feel that it has skimped out on features but trust me for an entry level camera this is a very good choice. If you are a novice and is a bit nervous about getting your first point and shoot camera, then this is an amazing choice as this also offers amazing ease of use.
Canon EOS 30D
One of Canon’s best sellers and a camera that I have recommended many to get, the EOS 30D is one hell of a choice if you are a photography novice. It’s predecessor the EOS 20D was amazing and the 30D has retained all its good features and improved upon others. Making this a very functional camera. I have even suggested this to people who aren’t new to photography. Even I am thinking about upgrading to the 30D.
The camera has an 8.2-megapixel sensor and nice large 2.5-inch LCD. It comes with a plethora of features but has an intuitive design so it isn’t hard to figure out. Digital camera novices can operate this camera. This camera is a step above the entry level cameras but below the professional grade. The 30D produces amazing pictures in both auto and manual mode and has a nice balance to it as well.
Canon EOS 5D
The Canon EOS 5D, man o man this camera. Though not at the top of the DSLR range for Canon, the EOS 5D is a beast in its own right. This is the most expensive camera on the list and I know that many of us may not be able to afford one. Still, I had to add this in because of how amazing it is. This camera is very unlike the other two entries as this was specifically made or high-end amateur photographers who have basic photography knowledge.
The Camera doesn’t have a built-in flash so if you do decide to buy it keep it in mind. The camera also does not come with a semi-auto mode as this was not really made for complete novices. This EOS model’s performance is unquestionably amazing with even many professionals using it as their back up option.
The camera has a 12.8MP full frame sensor, 2.5-inch LCD. Its magnesium body has a nice balance to it which is a big issue when taking the perfect photo. The list of happy customers this model has is endless. So, if you think you can handle it and afford the EOS 5D you can try it out.
Finding The Right Price
So you see these are the best starter cameras I can think of that will be perfect for anyone who is interested in photography. But which one to get? Where to get them? Well, that’s where shopping price comparison sites come in. These comparison engines will help you look for the different deals and listings across multiple channels. What this does is that it helps you make an informed decision. You can compare prices across multiple sellers to see what the best price is for the product and also if you can find some additional discounts like cash backs and cash rewards.
